one of my first collages!
I could not sleep last night due to pain from my fibromyalgia. So, early this morning, I decided to whip together a small collage for Colbie. Colbie is a girl I know through the charity Hugs and Hope (www.hugsandhope.org). She is sick and in the hospital. Though my collage is crappy, I sincerely hope it makes her smile! I used the limited supply of materials I had at my mom's house (I'm snowed in today!): three highlighters, a few stickers, images from the internet, printer paper, printer, and a glue stick.

Great beginning Erica and a lovely gift. No judgements, no rules, just play and express yourself. Welcome to the BAJ group. Lots of special helpful people here.
ReplyDeleteHi Cynthia! Thank you so much for the comment! I am going to keep your words in mind during my craft sessions. I find it much easier to create when I am not judging myself!
ReplyDeleteArt is always an expression of oneself and is beautiful. Keep exploring and remember like Cynthia said there are no rules and the main thing is you must enjoy what you do. Your collage is very special and made with lots of care which makes it a beautiful piece of art! Have a lovely day! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I forgot to say made with lots of love as well :)
